FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY APPOINTMENT?

My goal is for you to feel like you’re visiting a friend’s home — a welcoming, comfortable, and creative environment.

You’ll share the details of your event and try on some samples, pinning and draping our ideas along the way. The process unfolds naturally and is highly collaborative so you can share your thoughts and envision the design direction in real time.

Once we find a direction you love, you’ll receive:

  1. A sketch

  2. Pricing details

  3. Timeline breakdown leading up to your event

DO I NEED TO PREPARE ANYTHING FOR A DESIGN CONSULTATION?

If you already have specific ideas, feel free to share them. Otherwise, that’s what I’m here for.

We’ll discuss your event, the styles you feel best in, and the overall mood you’re envisioning. If you’re unsure, we’ll explore together .

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COUTURE & MUSE

You’ll receive the same level of personalized care and design guidance no matter which service you choose. After your appointment, I’ll send you an estimate for you to choose between:

  1. The Couture price - to own the garment

  2. The Muse price - a preferred rate that in exchange for returning the garment back to the studio after you wear it to your event.

WILL MY MUSE GARMENT BE RENTED OUT?

Though the primary purpose of the Muse program is to use the pieces for photoshoots, runway, media, and as showroom samples, rental is considered only if the garment can withstand it, and is determined solely at the studio’s discretion.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HAVE A GARMENT MADE?

For both Couture and Muse, the standard timeline is about three months from purchase to your first fitting, followed by roughly two months for alterations.

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO RENT?

If you know which garment you’d like to rent, you are welcome to call, text, or email to inquire about its availability. Since we only have one showroom sample of each style, availability and sizing is limited so trying them on before you rent is recommended.
